  • In order to eat the ham without it losing its organoleptic properties, it needs to be cut by hand with the use of this type of knife. The knife is made of stainless steel and measures 36.5 cm (14.37 in).
  • To keep the knife in perfect condition, it should be sharpened every time before use. To do so, always use the sharpening steel that comes with the set. Our honing (or sharpening) steel is a special rod that realigns the edge of the blade.
  • After sharpening, the blade should always be wiped down with a cloth to remove any remaining metal residues on the surface. The honing steel measures 32.5 cm (12.8 in).
  • The set also includes a very light one-size-fits-all ham cover that allows the ham/shoulder to breathe and preserve its properties. It is made of nylon, a material used for producing textiles of great strength, hardness and elasticity.
